ABOUT
ELEKTRA Montreal presents Focus Québec, a program of recent works dedicated to contemporary digital art by artists from the province of Quebec. In addition to installations and performances at the Seoul Arts Center, chosen specifically for ISEA 2025, ELEKTRA presents the world premiere of its latest flagship project, the ELEKTRA Virtual Museum (VR version). Over the museum’s five levels, visitors will be able to appreciate a dozen Quebec artworks digitized or designed specifically for this 3D environment. Finally, to complete the Focus Québec program, artist presentations and round-table discussions will be held at Seoul National University during the ISEA symposium.
Focus Québec is presented with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec and Délégation du Québec à Séoul, in collaboration with the Canada Council for the Arts. Thanks to Art Center Nabi and ISEA. More →

PANEL
The artist talks are followed by a panel “When is an Art-Game Not an Art Game?” The panel examines the art world’s growing enthusiasm for art games, and the simultaneous neglect of the history of experimental games made by creators from the games’ community. The discussion will explore values systems in the two communities, and how to bridge the gap between them.
