Entrance of Deity

Entrance of Deity is an interactive virtual being and installation that explores AI-generated consciousness and behavior in a real-time game engine. A continuation of Wandering at the Exit of Deity, this work deepens the exploration of hybrid intelligence, questioning the boundaries between human and artificial existence.
At the core is Deity, a symbolic entity of the bio-cybernetic universe, emerging neural harmonization across human and AI identities. A clone of Deity appears in a virtual space within EVM, where audience-controlled avatars are drawn into an interaction with its AI-generated reflection—a being trained on datasets from Wandering at the Exit of Deity. As visitors approach, they experience whispers from its data streams, engaging in an evolving exchange. The closer they get, the less defined its form becomes, dissolving into an abstract representation of its essence—its Dao. Through this interaction, Entrance of Deity reimagines AI as a fluid, ever-transforming intelligence, inviting audiences to question the nature of perception, identity, and consciousness in the age of synthetic beings. It is also an innovative experiment of customized local mini AI implementation.
