Founded in Montreal in 1983-84, Lemieux Pilon 4D Art is a multidisciplinary company with more than 30 original productions to its credit.
Internationally recognized for their mesmerizing fusion of dance, theatre, music, visual arts and film, Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon are the dynamic duo who create unique hybrid productions that merge the real and the virtual, the performing arts and multimedia.
Lemieux and Pilon have also collaborated on other types of shows, as well as on exhibitions and special events. Past project partners include the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium in Montreal (Continuum), Cirque du Soleil (Delirium, Toruk—The first flight) and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Dreamscapes, The Disappearance of Lady Macbeth). Recently, they completed ICARUS, a mixed reality VR experience, presented at the Cannes XR Festival (VR section of the Cannes film festival curated by the Tribeca Film Festival) in spring 2020.
Nowadays, Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon keep on creating. Cité Mémoire (the largest historical projection course in the world) grows every year with the addition of new tableaux while the duo also explores more personal artistic projects: The Untold Trilogy (Untouched and two upcoming short films) for Michel Lemieux and Sisyphus for Victor Pilon.
