The Biennale Chroniques of Digital Imagination offers to host the first virtual edition of the ELEKTRA Showcase of digital creation. This event aims to bring together Quebec creative studios and French partners, and thus strengthen the link already established between France and Quebec in the field of digital creation.

 

The economic value of Quebec's digital creativity is growing rapidly, in diversified markets: festivals, museums, cultural, tourist or event-related events and activities, in urban or heritage settings. This talent and know-how has a high export potential on the French market, in particular.

CHRONIQUES X ELEKTRA is a collaboration of several years with, among others, the holding of the MIAN at thecamp in 2018, then an online edition in 2020.

To continue this successful collaboration, and to increase it by expanding it to other French festivals, Chroniques delegates this development to HACNUM, a national network of which producers, broadcasters and professional groups of digital arts and cultures in France are members.

Thus this first edition of the ELEKTRA Montreal Showcase of Digital Creation will be held, in person and online, during the ZERO1 Festival in La Rochelle, in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. This event is supported by the Délégation générale du Québec à Paris, the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications, the Ministry of International Relationships and Francophonie, Heritage Canada and the City of Montreal.
