Information

Presented jointly by WeSA and ELEKTRA, AI-SCAPE brings together Korean and Canadian artists working in the fields of generative AI, machine learning, live coding, sound, and audiovisual performance. The festival explores new artistic possibilities emerging from the collaboration between humans and AI.

The festival features performances and collaborative projects led by 12 artists from South Korea and Canada. Audiences will discover algorithms composing music, AI generating images and sounds, and humans and machines acting together as creative agents.

The program also includes workshops led by Canadian artists. Through sessions covering AI-driven audiovisual production, generative sound, live coding, and more, participants will gain hands-on experience with contemporary creative methodologies and explore artistic possibilities related to performance.
