Informations supplémentaires

Video games have become an increasingly common form of contemporary artistic expression. The 8th ELEKTRA Biennale, curated by Lynn Hughes and Ida Toft, brings together two parallel trajectories of experimentation: artists working with games from within contemporary art and creators rooted in game design. From pioneering works, to a new generation moving between both fields, the exhibition traces how these different approaches have expanded and continue to expand the possibilities of the game as a form.

  • Large-scale game installations
  • Experimental and radical games
  • Talks with artist
  • Video game workshops
  • Lounge and pop-up library

The full programme will be released in early September.
