Informations supplémentaires

A new generation of artists uses video games as a natural means of expression, articulating their relationship to the past, contemporary culture, and society. The 8th ELEKTRA Biennale exhibition, with the theme “F(R)ICTION: art and games” and curated by Lynn Hughes and Ida Toft, highlights artists from both the video game industry and contemporary art. These artists challenge the stereotype of industrial video games as mere entertainment—often violent and sexist—and position the medium today as fundamentally inclusive.

  • Large-scale game installations
  • Experimental and radical games
  • Talks with artist
  • Video game workshops
  • Lounge and pop-up library

The full programme will be released in early September.
