LASER LIKE WATER

Laser Like Water a digital art installation created by Jean-Sébastien Baillat, Ottomata and Patrick Trudeau.

A meeting of elements in space, the work aims to bring perceptions to new dimensions. Lasers with sharp colours, suspended strings that cut the air, break in a pool of water. New chromatic shapes emerge from this fusion and move through the water, which is stirred by wind. The lasers are reflected on a panel at the end of the pool. This panel reflects the light signals, which are mixed with the direct signal of the laser that touches the panel, creating a reflection of reality where all visual references are blurred.

A synesthesia of light and music, the laser materializes the power of sound in space. Energies meet to create an intense experience, a connection between different forms of matter, a synergy in space.
