Opening night of the 2025 festival

Schedule

→ 8 pm: A participatory urban exploration in spacesuits, conceived by Le Clair Obscur: a fictional mission through the city that questions our relationship with the environment, technology, and otherness.
→ 9 pm: An audio-laser performance by Kristian North and Mike Cassidy, where light and sound fuse into a unique experience.

Smoke Screen

Smoke Screen is an audiovisual laser performance that explores limits, borders, softness, and streaks in real and virtual spaces, in response to current geopolitics and planetary conditions. The work uses a custom-built laser synthesizer to simultaneously generate shapes, colors, and sounds broadcast through three lasers and a speaker array. With this instrument, the artists explicitly cultivate entoptic phenomena and perceptual illusions created by the integration of sound and laser light, exploring the thresholds between collective and individual hallucinatory states.
