Information
NEST is a sound-focused digital artwork inspired by the harmonious patterns found in nature and the instinctive defense mechanisms of insect colonies when faced with human presence.
This modular piece is the first to utilize SONAR, Iregular studio’s new sound localization technology that changes how we are accustomed to experiencing interactive art. By combining a proprietary tracking system, directional ultrasonic speakers, robotic arms, and adaptive sound design, NEST follows participants and exposes each person in the room to a unique sonic reality.
