Information

« Fragments of an Artificial Consciousness » brings together three video series that explore the concept of artificial consciousness, highlighting its inherent limitations in the real world. The exhibition presents « Professional Development », « Goldberg’s Cave » and two works from the « Neverending Stories » series, deploying AI-generated video loops and fragments to explore the fictional nature of this consciousness. Sliding and recomposing from one image to the next like a collage, these works blur and break the boundary between reality and nightmare, human creation and generated construction, mind and the absence thereof. At times Kafkaesque, at times humorous, these short films inhabit the world of horror and bring to life the anxieties and chimeras of a consciousness that cannot exist.
