EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

#Data Montreal is the product of a series of workshops in which elementary and high school students are introduced to techniques for interpreting and visualizing data.

​

Data Montreal #2019 will be presented to the public as an interactive installation to be seen at both the ELEKTRA Gallery and Au Pied-de-la-Montagne School. This installation will take the form of visual and sound mapping powered in real time by demographic data. Elementary and high school students will discover how code, visual arts and sound arts can be combined to generate both poetic and scientific cartographic portraits of Montreal.
