BIO - JEAN-SÉBASTIEN BAILLAT
Jean-Sébastien Baillat has been at the forefront of the graphic design and digital arts movement for over 15 years
He strives to ensure that the design is open-ended, colourful, original and striking. After co-founding Baillat Cardell & fils, he continues his commitment to design under the Baillat Studio. It is known for
its performance live videos, his AV projects and installations. His work explores the repetition of forms, the flat colors, contrasts, typography, hypnotic and strange narrative constructions.
He has won more than 185 national and international design awards, including a Lion in Cannes and the 2011, 2012 and 2017 grand prizes. of the Grafika competition, he has worked with clients and artists as diverse as Le Cirque du Soleil, 45 Degree, Red Bull Music Academy , The Jazz Festival, Red Bull Radio, La Place des Arts, Mutek, Elektra, C2MTL and Moment Factory to name a few.
LASER LIKE WATER - PERFORMANCE
Laser Like Water creates a dialogue between water and laser through a musical and visual structure based on a mathematical formula. The piece studies the physicality and intensity of light and sound through space.
