Theo Jean Cuthand makes video games, short experimental narrative videos, and films that reflect on his own experiences. His practice delves into themes of sexuality, madness, Queer identity, love, and Indigeneity. Cuthand received the Hnatyshyn Foundation’s REVEAL Indigenous Art Award in 2017 and was a Whitney Biennial artist in 2019.
