Louis-Philippe Demers

Louis-Philippe Demers makes large-scale installations and performances. Demers has built more than 400 machines and he received prizes from Ars Electronica, Vida , Japan Media Arts Festival, and Helpman awards. Demers' works have been featured at major venues such as Theatre de la Ville, Sonambiente, ISEA, Siggraph and Sonar. Demers academic journey includes the ZKM and the School of Art at NTU (Singapore). He was the Director of the Creative Lab at the QUT (Brisbane). Demers holds visiting professorships from the UAL (London), CAFA (Beijing) and at the Applied Arts University (Vienna).
