Alan Kwan

Alan Kwan is an artist, game designer, and technologist whose work bridges cinema and video games. His practice centres immersive experiences that tap into emotions like heartbreak, fear, and the sublime. Kwan designs psychological spaces inside virtual worlds, challenging norms associated with 3D digital tools. His introspective environments invite players and viewers to wander, daydream, and reflect.

In collaboration with Paris-based DSLCollection, a collection of contemporary Chinese artwork, him and Allison Yang Jing co-directed Forgetter, a game that also functions as a virtual museum. All the artworks integrated are digital versions of works in the DSLCollection.
