Memories of the Future

Sculptures and a film divided into five chapters take the viewer on a journey through time. Ruins from the past blend with the dreamlike landscapes of the near future, bringing the two time periods closer together.
Overview

Information
Memories of the Future presents a collection of works that shapes a dreamlike and poetic environment, born from the ruins of the past. This audiovisual installation consists of a film divided into five chapters, accompanied by a series of sculptures. Through a primary strategy of time inversion, Memories of the Future offers a fresh perspective on the imagery of the future in the hope of mastering our own capacity for temporal intervention. By envisioning the future as if it were already behind us, this project stages dreamlike landscapes of the future that could have existed or might yet exist.
