BIO - ROCIO BERENGUER
Rocio Berenguer is a transdisciplinary artist interested in the dramaturgy of the body and in the new media.
Her creations, which belong at the same time to art and research, explore the hybridization between various disciplines and fields: theatre, dance, video, science and technology. Her art research is centred on the body and its relationships to the environment, technology and alterity.
Since her arrival in France in 2012, she collaborates with artists, developers, engineers, technicians and scientists. Collaborations with diverse scientists of various domains became one of her strongest axes and main sources of inspiration.
ERGONOMICS
Ergonomics, question the current characteristics of the urban body to propose solutions for the future body. What adaptations and what uses of the body will arise in a future Smart City?
The Ergonomics team imagines a choreographic fiction, in the context of business innovation, that questions new marketing strategies and distorts the discourse of start-ups… a one-of-a-kind dance/theatre show.
With Ergonomics, Rocio Berenguer proposes an offbeat and critical exploration of contemporary themes: the future body, the urban body, the Smart City and the clichés of innovation in these days of “all-digital.”
